Why do I need a log book service?

A Log Book service is required to ensure that your car is performing at its peak according to manufacturers specifications and to maintain your warranty.

What happens if I miss a Service?

If you miss a log book service and you have a problem with your vehicle, you may have to pay for repairs that could have been covered by your warranty.

Do you have Loan cars and how much do they cost?

Halls Gully Automotive have loan cars available for our clients, however, to avoid disappointment they must be booked at the same time as you book in your vehicle for servicing.

Will I lose my New Car Warranty if I don't go back to the dealer?

No, you don't need to have your vehicle serviced at the dealership to keep your manufacturers warranty. You can go to an Independent Automotive workshop for servicing and repairs. The ACCC states that any qualified mechanic can service your vehicle and fill out the logbook as long as they are using quality parts. Do you provide Digital reports for the work you have done? or a digital report of what's wrong with my car?

Yes, you will receive a comprehensive report of all work performed and parts used. Plus a detailed report on any faults found during your vehicle service.

How much will my service cost?

The cost of your cars Log Book Service is dependent on which service it requires. Please speak to us about getting a quote.

How can I pay for my Service?

We accept Cash, Visa card, Mastercard and AMEX for payment.

Can I drop off my car after hours?

Yes, our Ferntree Gully workshop accepts after hours vehicle drop offs. Please ring for more details.

What happens if something is not right after my car service?

We take great pride in our work, but if something doesn't seem quite right then let us know straight away. Plus you have the added assurance of our REPCO Nationwide Warranty if you find yourself out of town.
